2018 Annual Meeting
Barcelona, 21/22 June 2018
From 21st to 22nd of June, the Sociogerontechnology network met in Barcelona to explore the intersections between STS and Age Studies. Daniel López (UOC), Roser Beneito-Montagut (UOC & Cardiff University), Lluvi Farré (UOC), Andrea García-Santesmases (UOC), Arantza Begueria (Siegen University) and Mireia Fernández-Ardèvol (UOC) did a fantastic job in organizing the meeting under the theme “Unsettling Technogenerians”.
In the course of the meeting we discussed topics around agentialism, personhood and cyborgism, (re-)configuration, representation, qualculation and mutual emergence of older adults and technologies in care and robotics, blogging, whatsapp, gaming and co-design. We also found time to take a new group picture – please find it attached to this newsletter.
